D300 and D700 how do you run them on AA batteries?

the d300 for sale he says is run on AA batteries

anyone know how to do this,what bits are needed are they nikon?

If you fit a battery grip they come with an adapter that accepts AA batteries (well the D200's does). It takes 6

I believe you have to buy a battery pack (one that adds extra grip holder on the bottom)

You need the MB-D10 battery grip, it comes with a holder for 8 AA batteries (the MS-D10)
