Headed out this morning to Walberswick for a dawn shoot. Unfortunately there was not as much cloud in front of me as I had hoped for but the sun did appear which was good. At this location there isn't really an option to shoot toward the sun at this time of year & the lighting can be a bit hit or miss.

It's a curious place. Empty but amazingly atmospheric. Almost like a blank canvas waiting to be filled. I've stood there on a sub-zero midwinter sunrise and marvelled at just how beautiful it is. I think these images really capture a sense of place because it's all about the sea and the sky. There's nothing else.

It is exactly how describe Chris & a lovely place to spend a sunrise.
