Decent Battery Charger

Good Afternoon All,

I want to invest in a decent (AA/AAA) battery charger, without breaking the bank....

Ideally needs to be able to charge at least 8 batteries at a time and i know its best to have one that can refresh and do individual cell charging.....

There are quite a few on the market, just wanted know what people are going for....

That's the one I use, paid £49.99 from Maplins but I find it brilliant. You can charge fast or slow, discharge, recycle etc.

What 'current' do you guys charge yours at?

I just tried 1000 and it made the batteries VERY hot

Just trying 200 out now....

I use 200 for the ones I use in the flash and 500 for the ones used in the kids toys.

I just use an unbranded on I pinched from work; Its only a slow one, but it charges 4 AA batteries and is very compact. I always have 4 in my flashgun, and charge another spare set every month and it always seems to do the job. Having looked on ebay, it just looks like a standard cheap one, but tbh its okay!

I use one I got from www.7dayshop.com it charges, discharges and conditions the batteries. I got it with a set of AA & AAA batteries.
