Desktop Screen Recommendation

Its all personal as you tend to make what you have work. How much have you got to spend? I am using a Apple Cinema display as my primary at the moment and it works fine. I preferred my old Sony CRT but that failed years ago. LG do some very nice ones are sensible prices. You can get a 22” with good contrast for about £100 these days. I would keep your present monitor to use as your second or get another low cost TFT. Its handy to have a second monitor to place all your tools on.

There's been some excellent threads on here about screens in the last week or so.
If you want a 'good' photo-editing screen I'd suggest a budget of £200-£500 - you can spend more and you can spend less but that price range will get you something that won't leave you wanting.

What are the most important attributes for a monitor used for photo editing?
LCD Monitor
