Dillon our 12 week old Labradoodle

Hopefully you will agree he is a handsome young chap...my wife took a few first pics of him with the 50mm today, I think she has done very well however we would like a more critical view regarding improvements etc.

One of the problems we have discovered is exposing him correctly, he is jet black and so difficult to meter against if it is not full sun, Any advice on this would be most welcome.

He is definitely a handsome young man - and I'd agree your wife has done a great job. I'm sorry but I find photographing my mums black labXCollie a challenge too so I'm not much help re the exposure. I'd be interested to see if anyone else has any tips though!
