DIY Plamp

Just knocked up these plamps for my macro, close up stuff. These are my MK1 versions and no doubt I will modify. The clamps are not the best but the total outlay for everything was £4 from Poundland. I doubled up the black one to make it a bit stronger. I might even put 3 together. Not the prettiest you will see but they do the job.

I have the actual plamp and from your photo it looks like the plant clamp portion on your version is better. The plamp is good for holding delicate plants, but it just isn't strong enough to hold even a light weight small reflector. Good job!

I find it takes a while to get it set up as the wire tends to ping back a little but not bad for the price!

Some good ideas on how you use yours. They are a bit springy on their own, and feel better doubled up.
