Sorry I meant to add that this was taken with the Canon 300 f2.8 is with a 1.4 extender. I'm used to posting on a flickr site where you rarely get asked for information............! so coming on here and getting feedback is quite a novelty !!!!

For me there is some kind of noise present, perharps as a result of sharp. It's better to sharp the bird only and leave unsharped background.
