Early for Christmas

Just about to call it a day when this little fella popped up to check on what was going on.

Made a change from blue- great tits greenfinches sparrows and starlings squabbling - even seeing off the collared doves.

Tried a 1.5 converter on the sigma 70-300.​

Looks a bit soft there Fangers. I thought the same about your starling shot in the other thread, do you sharpen these after resizing for web viewing? It's a nice shot so I couldn't resist giving it a tweak. Sharpened - noise reduction just on the background - and just a wee dollop of contrast added.

Thanks. Shot taken - very minor cropping sized and posted in a few minutes of taking as was going out to a meeting. Wary of sharpening as over cooked in the past but web does seem to soften when hoasted.

I love the colours on the original, and the well enough detail for my eye.
