.....Eatbourne Pier Sunrise....

after getting my shots at the skatepark

i drove down to Eastbourne pier

most would go the other side to get the sun in the picture, i decided on the other as the sun was glowing up the pier

i decided on a low angle with my 10mm to get these mussels in the shot

camera sitting a few inches from the floor, water swirling around it, i was standing as far as the cable cord could go to not get my feet wet hoping a small wave would not cover the camera

i felt like i was being washed away with that first pic.. really fantastic long exposure! the arrangement of shells etc is a nice foreground touch

is a great a great pier for photos, you always see lots of people down there taking pics

thankyou, i do get a bit worried sometimes, but the results are so worth it.....until oneday it does get wet

after a few on facebook the 1 image has now been improved

glowing stone to the right is gone, and legs on end of pier have been straightend after being distorted by 10mm, and colour improved very slightly
