I put a bid in for a broken Pentax 6x7 for £100 plus £10 shipping. The idea was to take it a part see how it works and if I ever need parts for my working one I can use this.

Then when I go to pay the price has increased with no explanation?

Anyone experienced this? I dont want a bad mark on my ebay record and also dont want to pay a price we did not agree on

Thanks

Not seen that before. What happens if you click on 'Request total' - or refresh your browser? I'd send the screen shot to the seller to say it's coming up at £120 which isn't what you'd agreed.

At the risk of making an ass of myself I can only assume it’s VAT being added as it’s coming from Japan, it’s also 20% which would tie in. I don’t know for sure though, I haven’t bought from outside the UK on eBay before, no doubt somebody will be along shortly that knows more than me :)

ah yes VAT, caught me off since I usually pay whatever the import tax ends up being instead. Cheers guys
