I posted an image on one of the photo sharing forums, asked for critique and got lots of helpful replies. I added a general thank you post, but I wondered whether I should like all the replies or if that's overkill. Is there a general do/don't expectation? Thanks
 
There are no rules, regarding this do what you feel comfortable with,
 
there is every variation from replying to each reply, liking, or a general thanks, TBH I do a mix although i do tend to "like" just as an indication that I have read the reply
 
I tend to quote responses to my images with a 'thank you' and a like. I will comment if it's needed too. I think it's good form to respond if somebody has taken a moment of their time to comment on an image or query of mine.

In the talk forums, I respond with a like to comments (on my own questions/comments)) I've read and noted, just as a recognition that I've seen and appreciate the response. If a reply is required, I will do so. (y)
