Event Printer Hire

Evening All,

Looking for comments or advice please, I'm covering a Prize Giving on the 1st December. I shot the same event last year and the guests requested that prints be available for purchase on the night. So I think I need to hire a printer.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Who to use etc?

Today I phoned Systeminsight and the girl I spoke to was very nice and helpful.

She said that this is the printer she would reccomend, as it is their most popular one. It's a weekly rental and outside of the rental fee you only pay for the media you use.

Anyone reccomend them, or anybody else?

The printers work fine, I work with another photographer and he uses these a few issues on occasions usually due to putting used film in LOL but he carries 2 of them so its easier to just swap it out than try to work out what mistake has been made its not normally the printer at fault

I think photomart hire printers out so just get the prices and compare them the printers are all very similar just make sure you charge enough to cover yur costs and make a bit for your time, you will need an assistant to run the printing while you shoot as well.
