I love how super telephoto zoom lenses can distort perception of size and distance.
I was standing in a direct line of 3 miles away from Bramley Moore Dock stadium on the opposite side of the River Mersey, Goodison Park is 1.7 miles further back and the hills in the background, which is Winter Hill in Bolton, are 28 miles away.
For info, this was taken with the Canon R5 and the EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III + 2x extender
