experimenting with moving water

Hi guys,

went for a bike ride today in the sun and experimented with some moving water shots. was a bit too bright to really get many done but managed a few in the shade.



threw a rock in just as the shutter went off just to see what sort of result i might get.

The first one lacks contrast and may be slightly over-exposed, to me anyway, and personally I'm not keen on it. Of the other similar images I prefer the last one as it has some visual element, the cut-off rock or land to the right draws my eye so may be better cropped out (as the overhead bridge does). The exposure and colour seem spot-on though. Also, maybe a close-up shot of one of the rocks with the water swirling around it might have been another good angle (especially the white rock in shot #4). Obviously this is only my personal view.

Thanks johnny, I agree would have liked a close up of the rocks but was limited with the zoom on my lens.

The first pic was a mere fun shot just to see what it would look like I do agree it lacks a bit
