I took these today whilst out with the dog. I was just trying different settings when a few ducks flew past and I got off a few shots. The image came out way too dark but I've had a play in lightroom and this is the end result.
Is it ok? I can't decide if the image looks too atificial, as I've had to really brighten it up PP.

And here is another. I don't know what kind of bird it is though. I'm still learning. I know the shot isn't great with the twigs and the shadow, but I've seen many great pics on here and thought I'd have a go at something other than a Kestrel or Buzzard. I've had a play PP on this one too.

Should I put up the originals and exif info? Maybe someone could tell me where I'm going wrong.
