Yes
Often during special days, fiestas, Saint's Days and the like the Falleras can be seen walking around in all their traditional finery.

While in Gandia, which is in the Valencia Region of Spain, last Thursday (Saint Joseph's Day) I happened upon these ladies...

Good morning Sara, thank you. Oh - and thanks for dragging this out of the unanswered posts section ;). Yes, very bright sunshine and no filters  I suppose.

We didn't go to Valencia, mainly because Gandia puts on such a good display, I'm sure we will at sometime though, have you been?

We went a couple of years ago, but didn't stay out late to watch the statues being burnt. It was great though to wander around and see them, some were massive. Actually our neighbour in Spain works all year round on the paper mache statues - It is a vocation with quite a high standing in the community.

We have been to the mascaletta a couple of times and that has been truely awesome - I would recommend that to anyone.
