Critique Feeding havoc: critique

I took some similar photos while testing the focus on a new tele-zoom the other week. As a rough rule of thumb with wildlife on the 'ground', the photos generally look better if shot from a lower angle, quite often they'll look best taken at the animal's eye level. However, with waterfowl on the local duck pond this can present problems owing to the height of the banks and the fact that the banks are probably covered in bird droppings (which usually discourages kneeling or lying down!) and there's probably some risk of falling in!

Something to perhaps consider when taking photos of a similar subject, try a few alternative shots at a lower angle and see how they look. Aside from that, there's nothing much to dislike about a photo of happy-looking ducks. :) Oh, and don't blame me if you fall in! ;)
