Nice detailed shot Roy; horrible sky you had to contend with. Did you have to lift the brightness because you had the shady side of the ship?

Oh yes, like this, very good detail and yes the sky is not good but that's not really a problem when it comes to a warship..........and its well out of your control, very good shot.

Thanks Dave and Dangermouse for looking and for your remarks, with regards to the sky, I could have brought out more detail but decided to concentrate on the ship.
I failed to mention that the photograph was taken from my fishing boat on the way to a boatyard.
