Field mouse

Out photographing our feathered friends the other day when a bank vole allowed me to get fairly close. A sudden flurry of activity and this little fella took his place. Awful light so ISO 2500 and a hefty crop due the poor minimum focus distance of my 400mm but it was a nice experience

Lovely shot & I reckon it's a snarl gramps as it's a vampire mouse about to bite the shooter
