Early morning light emphasised these drystone walls and green fields near Giggleswick (yes, really), Yorkshire.

Ohh great use of the walls to drag your eye into the picture. Were you floating on the air when you took it??

Nice shot. Barn and the walls work well.

However I can't help but think that a bit of sky would've added some more. Tho' I guess (with some knowledge of the nice "flat" land around there) that this wasn't an option.

Dont take that as a critisism. Your shot still works.

Nice composition, I really like this shot  (y)

If I was to suggest anything to alter, it would be to lighten and maybe sharpen the barn, just to give a focal point to the shot :)

Thanks for the comments Paul and WetSparks. As far as the sky goes Paul, on this occasion it was something I wanted to keep out. I did take a shot with it in, and a couple of landscape orientation shots, but this was the one that semed to make the best use of the bold lines. I know wahat you mean about the barn WS. The change from tended pasture to rough grazing at the top tends to take a bit away too.

Regards, Tony
