Fireworks world championship Blackpool

Went to the fireworks world championship at Blackpool last night. First try at shooting fireworks and it is well difficult. They were set off from the north pier and the prom was heaving, I was on the steps leading to the beach trying to find somewhere away from the glare of the illuminations. Many many pics and very few keepers!
All taken with 20d and Sigma 17-70.

Paul's hit the nail on the head there.....most firework shots are just up into the sky (me included) these make a nice change and they are fantastic.
