Have you done any processing on these Ryan? The skin texture and tone on the first looks like it's been played with a little. I also wouldn't have cropped quite as tight myself.

Number 2 looks good, aside from on the left hand side her face seems to blend into darkness slightly.

Very good first effort though

i hav used photoshop and applied i surface blur and guasion blur and used the dodge and burn tool
