Very soft on the focus- hard to make out what it is to be honest :shrug:

I see from EXIF you shot @ f5.6 may I suggest you stop down to at least f11 / f13 for Macro as you'll get a much better dof

Thank Les, I'l give it another go at F11 and see what I get.
I don't think the image will look 'pin sharp' though as there was a layer of juice on the top, and with most of the pips below a watery surface, but hopefully it will be sharper.

As for what it is, it was supposed to be more abstract shapes and colours than recognisable but bellow is a more zoomed out version of the kiwi fruit.

Might I suggest reading the section about posting critique
