Had a quick go with my Macro lens when I was Bluebell togging on Saturday. First time in about 3 years.
This fly wasn't very active so was able to catch him with my camera mounted on a Tripod.
Settings: Lens Sigma Macro 105 - f3.5 - 1/25th Sec - No flash.

Looks great to me. A fine composition too.

Thank you Gaz. Hoping to do a lot more Macro again in the coming months.

Hi Lee, long time no see Matey. Trust you are keeping well. Nice colourful photo, not sure what that wiggly thing is but it adds to the shot leading you right up to the fly.

Hi Alby! All well here. Had a tough few years but now got time to re-acquaint myself with togging. I like the colours in this too and the oily effect on the wings. That wiggly thing is an animal hair. Probably a dog as it is a popular area for dog walkers. Hope all is well you end. I see you've not lost your Macro touch :)

All good here Matey, macro is never far from my life :D

Chris - No not enhanced the colours. Think I just got lucky with good light amongst the Bluebells. :)
