Number 1 would make a cracking signature background

#1 is quite subtle and works very well for me. Not so keen on the second.

Cant put my finger on why but I prefer number two - I thinkits because the high key effect in my opinion works better when the skin tones are included. Love the colors of the eyes - not too overdone!
