Critique First couple of pictures

This is Mollie, and these are my first couple of pictures since I got my camera on Friday, taken loads over the weekend to try and get the hang of the camera but these are probably my favourite. Been reading loads but still clueless so just snap happy for now see what turns out well and what doesnt! Top one is the very first pic I took with the Camera, second one she was running round flying a kite.

Yeah I'm not expecting groundbreaking pictures, only got the camera Friday and I'm coming from an iPhone 4 camera so!
