Beginner First Flowers

Right, have never shot anything even remotely flowery before (so be nice!), but fancied trying out the new camera on something natural. Comments and crit most welcome in case I decide to do more of this kind of thing!

Bonus points for anyone who can tell me what these are called, as I have literally no idea!

@Kodiak Qc - Thanks Daniel. Like I said it's not something I would normally shoot so therefore have never composed or processed before - goal was not to over-do or ruin the first one and maybe go from there! Also a good chance to see what "bokeh" this 18-55mm is capable of - not bad considering I think...
