Actually I quite like both of these
I can't offer any real crit though as I have never tried it my self.
But I'm sure @MWHCVT (Matt) will be along shortly
Glad to see it's going to get used now!
Love the first shot.
The V24 is possibly one of my favourite tools very specialist but really good fun to use, like the idea of what you've gone for here but some work is needed in the execution, the first is dominated by that cloud/light pollution which is a real shame...also you need to be a little tidier in your action as there's a quite clear ragged bit that I'm guessing is where your were looking to turn off the tool...
The second the colours are a little weak in this one, now this could be a need for some fresh batteries in your V24 as it certainly gets fainter as the batteries drain, but it's more likely to be that you need to adjust your camera settings to allow light to hit the sensor in greater quantities..what where your settings for these?
I really like the shape you were making with the V24 it works well it's a little like a flower
I like the idea of lighting the rocks but I'd be tempted to do it with a little bit of coloured gel something that would contrast the V24 but I would try and avoid areas with clear distractions like the railing and the signs
Matt
Thanks for the feedback, I did stumble with the buttons to try switch it off as you say, but im sure with practice I will get better.
I agree with the light pollution, but if I'm honest I just wanted to try the LED stick out as I had only got it that day.
I think the faint image was due to speed/camera settings as fresh duracell batteries where just put in.
I tried lighting the rocks to add to the image, but all I had on me was my Lenser P7.2 I left my coloured perspex at home , but I do agree with the signs which I should of really done something about.
BUT I am out playing tomorrow night in a very dark place and wirewool also
WW and the V24 are one of my favorite combinations when out light painting
a couple of examples of V24+WW

I am in no way an expert in this field but I love the images very nice indeed.
I am not expecting results like yours, as yours are fantastic, but I will be trying your style of orb and I shall share my results
Very kind of you I look forward to seeing what you are able to do
