There wasn't much PP to be honest, however a little bit of saturation and contrast was applied to the overall image. No local adjustments.
My point is that the skin tones of a newborn maybe
very pleasing… and sometimes not so. That quite
normal!
Applying saturation and contrast is possibly not the
best PP strategy… but again, I was not there to see
how it looked.
If I could get a trying hand on the RAW, I could make
a suggestion.
I wouldn't mind that but how would I send it? Can you send big files via PM?

There lies the tale Shaun. In my experience, upping the contrast also affects the saturation.
When I up the contrast on an image my next step would be to reduce the saturation a little to compensate.
