First one this year

Nice one, I suddenly realise how few of these I see, despite (obviously) hearing them all over the place.
 
Well caught i have never been lucky to get near one with a camera though i have been within 30 feet without (y)

Thanks All, they're very stealthy aren't they. I suppose for them it goes with the territory.
 
Wow I havent seen one for some time now, a few years back I could always hear a number & see a few.
 
As many, I've never seen one either, have heard them though.

Well done for capturing this elusive bird!
