First play with the Canon RF200-800mm F6.3-9 IS USM

The lens arrived yesterday and ofc I had to spend the only good light/weather traveling on public transport to pick up my freshly repaired car....
Still, when I got home I slapped the lens on the R7 and shot a couple of our cats.
All the shots have been run thru DXO pure raw 3, slight crops for tiding and then had between 15-18% sharpening in topaz denoise and then resized.
Safe to say I'm pretty happy with it, light was poor due to a strong overcast, all hand held, though I usually use a monopod and monogimbal.
Soo much easier to handle than my 300mm F/2.8 IS mii+ tcs

Never owned a Maine Coon but we have had 2 Ragdolls. We lost one a few years ago and we now have a 4 year old female.

Our next cat will be a Maine Coon, gorgeous cats.

We've been owned by Coons (and Somalis) for 20 years now, our first lot were French bred (cos we lived there) and this rabble are all welsh bred (cos that's where we live now we have 5 boys, the oldest is 5 and Finner is the youngest, two (Toffee and Teddy) at 2 years and Tiquet who is 15 months, lovely cats, great characters, we wouldn't be without them. The oldest. Brenin, is Tiquets granddad and came to us for his retirement, a damn great soft 10kg lump especially now his 'I'm a tom cat' attitude has faded .

OH's brother has 2 Maine Coon boys, both getting on now. Nowhere near as angry looking as yours. But awesome cats, would love a pair ourselves but afraid of letting them out (we're suburban London)...
