First post in this section - and first efforts at sunset

Hi All,

As per the title I'm not really into landscape photography but have just got back from a couple of weeks in Turkey and having watched some beautiful sunsets I thought I'd better have a go at capturing them.

I didn't take the D60 with me so these are taken on my panasonic FZ8 and I have had a little play in PSP X2 for the PP.

1. Managed to capture a couple of microlites in this one - they must have had a fantastic view!

Any and all C&C is more than welcome - I enjoyed taking these so you never know, I might get into this landscape thing so I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong.

Nice shots, I really like them. Well done .

I am on holiday these next two weeks and am planning to get a decent couple of sunsets and sunrises.

Here is one I took a few years ago, a handheld pano. I could probably spend a bit of time cloning out the wires.

#1 is a cracker! #2 is lovely too, but could possible use a bit of a crop at the bottom.
