First shoot with my new Lens

As soon as I paid for my new Lens, I couldn't wait to go to the nearest park and have a play. Can only get better (hopefully) once me and the lens get to know each other a little better. Im happy, what do you guys think.

What lens were you using? It looks like a zoom? I really like the first one, although the subject placement is a little to central for my tastes. #2 is nice, but I feel like there is too much that is OoF, which is a shame as the drops of the one swan's beak would have been interesting. #3 is also nice, but a shallower DoF might have worked better with a more definite focus point.
Keep experimenting! You can only get get good pictures with a lens if you experiment with it. I've found that out with my new 75-300mm.

The lens is a Canon 70-200mm f4, and its the first time i have ever used a lens that size and weight before (That's My Excuse and I'm Sticking To It lol) but I do think you need time to get comfy with new equipment, or is it just me .....
