First shot with lighting.

Hi guys, i recently bought the lencarta elite pro starter kit and tried a shot with it last week using a friend so thought i'd share.
Used one head with a shoot through brolly to the cameras right and a silver reflector to the left of said friend. Processing is a bit of contrast and and sharpening.

Taken with D300 and 50mm F1.8

Lots of people seem to be going for the lenscarta gear at the moment. Looks good for a first try, and your not using a backdrop. Your lighting a scene, which I thing is probably more demanding, although not your intention I'm sure. Purely for interest I would have liked to have seen the original version. Did you use a lightmeter, of the cheaper method of trial and error?

Cheers, it was a bit of T&E for this but will be ordering a lightmeter shortly as well as some other bits and pieces. I'll post the original later today when i get home from work
