Just found this site!

Anyways, only had my 450D for about 3 weeks and slowly getting the hang of it..

Very creative. You have excellent vision. Really like no 3 and 4. Unsure about 1 and 2 although that is probably due to me being very traditional in nature. Perhaps I need to continue to expand my mind more. Keep the posts coming

Just to add, no special lighting just borrowed an old flash, mounted and bounced of the ceiling "it's not broken! " I hope to get some lighting soon..

Another - She wont forgive me for posting! lol So long as she does not find out

This week I purchased a Nifty Fifty, so I hope to improve...

Martin, they are very good shots, I ask because I have the same set up! Yeah, I'm in the same boat and will be getting a nifty fifty soon as well.

They are taken with an external flash and other room lighting, much better than the default popup!
