Hello gang

I am looking around for a good value Flashgun for my Canon D60, I am seeing eBay clones for £30.00 or mid tier stuff around £70.00 for a name brand, any real difference?

Can someone suggest a good starter flash for walking round type work?

Thanks in advance.

Just in case anyone comes along and laughs at the fact that Navare has a Canon D60 (which you might think they've confused with a Nikon D60), it's one of Canon's early digital SLRs, at a similar time to the Nikon D100.

I would spend a bit more navare. Rubbish flashguns result in rubbish performance - slow reload times, bad connections, etc etc.

The Jessops 360AFD (canon fit) can be had on ebay for around £60, so I'd look for that one.

Thanks foodpoison

Yop it's a Canon D60 circa 2002 and seems to run like a dream, I'm off to look for that flash

Hi Navare

I recently bought a canon 430EX II. I was a little disapointed with the build quality of it, especially as it's not really cheap (well not by my standards anyway) but apart from that it's fantastic. Very quick reload times and full bounce, etc. I'd recommend it.

D60 is not a camera i remember but i would have thought it'd be compatible.

Hi Jonno
