I don't often comment on bird photography as I'm pretty bad at it but this is very good. Can I ask what equipment and settings were used?
As a slight niggle the branch is distracting. Is there a way of cloning it out? If the subject was just a few more inches away from it I think it would be excellent although I appreciate you can't really set that shot up again
Thank you all for the positive and kind comments, sorry for not replying sooner to the questions,
@ Phil :- I used a Nikon D7100 with a Sigma 300mm 2.8 lens, ISO 250, 1/4000 f/2.8 continuous focus, as for the branch I'm not too good with anything like that and I think I would perhaps spoil the shot, but I will try and if it's anything like, I will post it here
@ Darthchaffinch :- I pre-focused in the area that the birds were flying through regularly, the rest was patience and luck
