French sunrise

Glorious sky and reflections in that shot, dawn colours are just lovely, great image. I would probably crop the top of the sky to remove the 50/50 horizon but this is just me, and this is a very fine picture.
 
The opposite for me Jao, I'd crop the bottom of the lake just after the clouds appear... fwiw I held a piece of paper to concur =D
 
i can appreciate this picture mike being a carp angler myself having fished in france 5 times you get wonderfull oppertunities to capture sun rise/sets and great weather pics.
i think youve done a great job and although i agree there is room for a crop leaving the rods in shot tells a story in their own right wished id been there to capture the scene with you .
hope the fishing was as good as the scenery mate.

thanks for your comment, went to a place called boux near chaumont central france longimanus, yeah fishing was great clive went with a few friends from work i had 16 carp biggest 48.06lb mirror really good week all in all (y)
