Here's one from a very early morning sunrise at Girdleness Lighthouse Aberdeen.

Yeah I liked the colours, but I agree its a little soft, not sure why though. Taken with a 24-70 l series, took time with focus and used manual focus

With that set up you'd think it would be sharp. Where are you hosting your photo's? Could be down to compression while uploading

No the original looks like this on screen too.

Only thing I think it could be was my manual shutter press has moved the camera ever so slightly during exposure.

Ah that's a shame!
Could be that then! I find that sometimes when I use the manual shutter.
