Hi all. Anybody using the Gloxy GF-F990 flash? Any experience with it would be helpful. Reviews etc. Not much info on web about it.

I've not used the F990 but i did use the old non-HSS version.
For the money it was OK. Slightly underexposed when compared to my Metz and Yongnuo by I'd say about -0.2 EV. Nothing to worry about really. No idea if this one will be the same. But to be honest for the sort of money they're asking for the Gloxy I'd say pay ever so slightly more and get the Yongnuo 568

Can't comment on the flash as I've never tried it but when I was researching flashes earlier this year I came across this blog post with a link to a discount.
