gowing up in microlight what lens

growing up in microlight tomorrow night I was thinking of my Nikon 70mm 200mm 2.8 or Nikon 24mm 70mm 2.8 think I would get better detail with 70 200 but get lot more in with 24 70 what do you think
 
I'd consider weight of what you want to take too (y) never been up in one though...guess it also depends what you want to get out of it, if your behinds glass or more likely Perspex you may well find a polariser of use (y)
 
Is it an open seater, or an enclosed A/C with normal three axis contol?
If the former, I'd take a lens which is weather proof!

Good luck, canvas, bent aluminium tubing, and the prop driven from the cam shaft.
