Not terrible - howver it lacks a focal point and the background is a little busy to be be honest

Cheers Les. The focal point was meant to be the spindly branch in the middle of the picture but I know what you're saying. Thanks for the feedback, I'm still learning so appreciate all criticism

Joe - Not wishing to sound negative- if you used a a large aperture like f1.4 (or the largest you have available), then the BG would become just a blurr and enhance the focal point in the image- or a true Macro lens would produce a much better result
