Nice view point! As you said, the light isn't ideal, but it's also not the worst light I've seen!
Colours look a bit over saturated though!

See I reckon you're a half stop under and the saturation has come from under exposure

to be honest mate i boosted the saturation in lightroom perhaps i got a little overexcited

The view from Loughrigg Terrace is always good but I would prefer it without the saturation boost, taking pictures at this spot is often a challenge due to the shadow until the sun comes over the hill which is always after mid day.

It needs a lift, a bit brighter and a tad less saturated and it'll be as good as it can be
