I dont shoot macro, I have neither the skill or the equipment but this forum is one of my favourites I spend ages looking at the fascinating images you lot produce and I am just amazed. This photo is a good example of all I like about this kind of shot so much detail and fantastic DoF. Well done

cheers folks, i don't own a Macro lens "YET" this was taken with 24-70mm F2.8 L lens then this is a crop of the original.

I am pretty happy with it.

Wow thats amazing for a non macro lens. I am still trying to shoot one of these guys. They never seem to stay in one place for more than a few seconds.
