Not taken any bird images for some time, so I thought that I would post an image from this evening, for maybe discussion
Taken from the house, the bird landed on a post in the garden about 10 metres away
The perch is scruffy and unattractive, but it's a lovely young male
(sun) low light, behind the bird to the left
I've posted 3 images as they may help any discussion
Nikon D810 - 1/1000th sec - f5.6 - ISO3600 - +1/3EV
Nikon 600mm f4 + Nikon 1,4TC - on a good strong tripod and gimbal
spot exposure and single cell focus
Original RAW OOC - no adjustments - full frame
Edited in LR - cropped - levels - noise - usual adjustments to a RAW
Image showing focus points and other info - I missed the eye/head, although I thought that I was spot on
