Three beautiful sharp images, excellent, no.1 my fav.

different....one is:) His head looks out of proportion..I know its not though

Detailed shots and I like them thanks for sharing(y)

On the first did you crop it or is there more of the reflection?

Thank you all very much.
In the first shot the Heron was being mobbed by some Gulls.
Martin. I really must think more about composition. I could have got the reflection in, just didn't think about it.
Here is another shot when it is being mobbed.

i like all pics no1 more than others ,does look as if something is getting a telling off.

Yes, these are amazing, just like all your other stuff Dai!
(Not jealous, honest!)

Nice to see something a little different in this section! I like the first one for the plumage and expression. The second has frozen the action and the droplets beautifully.

Corking set David. #1 particularly appeals, startled - swearing - who knows, funny though. I watched a Heron fishing at Bough Beech (Kent) some years ago. Stalk - Stab - Lunch, over and over again. Never missed, brilliant.

Brilliant shots, David. No.1 had me

Really jealous of these. The herons near us are always too far away to get a decent image.Excellent shots. I love number 1
