There are quite a few of these around the lake in Buxton. They're fascinating creatures..

Andrew I have never seen one, it was a strange bird amongst others you see daily.

Probably an escapee as they are not native to the UK. We had one on the Thames for a few years, it seems to have moved on now..

More half goose half duck really, not many turkeys can swim.

They aren't the most attractive of ducks but they have a better nature than geese and lay bigger eggs than ducks.

the Lavender ones are the most attractive to my mind.
