Very nice shot

One detail that has caught my eye, but could be easily resolved with a quick clone. There appears to be a white mark inside his ear. Nothing major, but now I've seen it I'm drawn to it. I'd hate for you to get any printed and then notice

I like the sharpness in eyes & hair and yet the softness of the skin tones. I presume good lighting but perhaps some clever PP, either way, very professional looking shot.

No skin softening on these I promise, although the odd zit was removed and highlights on the lad ironed out.

Lighting was with a beauty dish (small version) with silver reflector on opposite side, although the dish was pretty close to camera left anyway.

And taken with same as yours - 5D classic, with my very rarely used Canon 28-135.

i actually prefer the pose/expression of #1 but the space/composition of #2
