I've been after getting some shots of hares, but thus far, have not been able to find any in a position where I could get close enough to capture them.
On Saturday, I spotted these two sat in a pony field, near a hawthorn hedge, which I knew would afford me a bit of cover.
I ended up about 12 feet away from the hares, after belly crawling slowly towards them.
All in all, it took me about 15 minutes to get close enough to get the shots.
This is the last shot, and my favourite, they finally realised I was there, and the hare on the right is ready to go, ears back, staring straight at me
