Hi there, I have just purchased a Macbook Pro Retina & have downloaded the Mac version of Lightroom. Now, on Windows, Lightroom is a doddle, BUT, The Mac is frustrating me somewhat. I can download my RAW pics into iPhoto no problem. When I try to import into Lightroom here the problems start. Lightroom doesn't seem able to "See" the iPhoto files so I can't import. I have checked the "Edit in" tab for Lightroom. This works but I can then not find the files after processing.
All in all, Frustrating. Please help in laymans terms.

Kind regards, Kevin

I would use either iPhoto or Lightroom. Lightroom is not best know for its food integration with the apple media browser which make the libraries available in all applications without the need for export nor faffing about with the file system.

As such import your photos directly into Lightroom, no need for an intermediary step. That way it will be the same as on the PC.

Ok. Many thanks. What do you suggest instead of iPhoto please?
